Sitting in a basement

Learning about life

Through images and lifestyles

Of others with insight

Insight into the world

That nobody can see

But all I can do is agree

For these people are on to something

When they speak about despair

And about the horrors

Of living anywhere

The cutting and incision

Of my daily life

Breathes life into these cables

That constitute my life

I sit here and I capture

That which is my soul

To spread to those that believe

I am good and gold

But gold is always plated

But I don’t seem to see

For a hipster I shall always be

And blind to all I see
